A classical music library of your own
Listening grows when you can keep what you find. Sonatique's Library holds your collections: the pieces you are learning, the composers you are getting to know, the albums worth returning to and the concerts you plan to hear. It is part of Sonatique Premium and kept with your Sonatique ID.
Save anything you find
Almost everything in Sonatique can be saved: pieces, composers, albums, record labels, ensembles, genres, instruments, periods, places and concerts. Tap save on any of their pages and choose the collection it belongs in. Concerts work the same way: save one from its page and it waits in your Library next to the pieces on its programme.
That makes the Library more than a list of favourite works. It can hold the whole context of what you are exploring: the composer, the piece, the recording you prefer, the hall where you heard it and the next concert where it is on the programme.
Classical music collections for study, rehearsal and listening
Collections are named and private, and you can keep several side by side. A student might keep one for each exam or essay, a performer one for each programme in preparation, a listener one for a composer they are working through or a period they want to understand. Names are yours to choose, so a collection can be called after a recital date, a course or simply a mood.
Because collections live alongside the catalogue, every item in them is one tap from its explanation, its streaming links and its upcoming performances. Different kinds of things can share a collection, so one list can hold a recital programme together with its composers, its performers and the hall.
Collections that work for you
What you save shapes what Sonatique shows you. The For you row in the Events tab looks through your collections for upcoming concerts that feature the pieces, composers, ensembles and venues in them, and tells you why each one was picked.
Collections also keep your discoveries within reach. A work you first met as Today's Piece, a lesser-known piece from Home or a composer you found through the Images tab stays one tap away long after the day has changed.
Collections as listening lists
Every piece in a collection keeps its streaming links, so a collection doubles as a listening list: open it, choose a work and play it in Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, YouTube Music or Amazon Music.
Saved concerts keep their programme, performers, tickets and directions together until the night, and every composer you save is one tap from their works and from the next concert with their music on the programme.
Kept with your Sonatique ID
Your collections are stored with your Sonatique ID rather than on your phone. Sign in on another device and your Library is there, just as you left it, with nothing to export or back up. Sign out and they stay safe on your account; sign back in and they return. Collections are always private to your account.
